Using the same technology as the Amera File, Amera's Nail Buffer polishes the nail surface and nail edges without damaging the nail plate. Use to smooth ridges, irregularities, and to give the nail a healthy shine.
Amera's Tri-Color Nail Buffer is designed to polish the nail surface and nail edges without damaging the nail plate. While it looks similar to ordinary buffers, it is far superior in quality. The Amera Tri-Color Buffer uses three different aluminum oxide structures in a latex base to achieve a graded polishing system to smooth away nail ridges while sealing the nail plate and giving the nails a healthy shine. Furthermore, this Tri-Color Buffer is much less likely to cause nail damage when used properly.
Features and Benefits:- Aluminum oxide crystals suspended in a soft latex base
- Gives a longer-lasting shine without damaging the nail surface
As gentle as it is, if used to frequently or with too much pressure, the Tri-Color Buffer may weaken the nail plate by thinning it. The key is use friction, not force. Avoid using the blank and white portions of the Tri-Color Buffer when extremely thin or damaged nails are evident. Buffing with the gray portion more than twice a week, combined with the firm massage used to apply Cuticle Mousse, can in some cases cause the nail bed to ache from overstimulation.
After buffing the nail surface, the Tri-Color Buffer may be used to smooth the edges of the nails with short, back-and-forth strokes. This "fine tunes" the edge of the nail.
The Tri-Color Buffer does wear out, and needs to be replaced every few months, depending upon how often it is used. Those you use it to repair chipped Nail lacquer or to remove heavy nail ridges may need to replace their Tri-Color Buffer more frequently.
Directions for Use:Black portion (course grit) - Gently rub the entire surface of each nail in a smooth circular motion for 30 seconds. This removes any heavy ridges and irregularities on the nail plate. The black portion can rove layers of the nail plate if used too often or with too much pressure. Once the nail plate is smoothed of irregularities, the black portion of the Tri-Color Buffer may only be needed once a month or until the surface of the nail has grown out and new ridges have developed.- White portion (medium grit) - Next, using the white portion, buff each nail for 15 seconds in a smooth, circular motion. This should only be done once a week. A shine begins to develop, as well as a rosy glow under the nail plate, which indicates improved circulation.
- Gray portion (fine grit) - Give the nail a high-gloss shine by buffing each nail with the gray portion for about 15 seconds. This part of the Tri-Color Buffer may be used once or twice a week over dry Nail Lacquer or on bare nails.
- The aluminum oxide crystals are suspended in latex rubber, the the Tri-Color Buffer should not be wet. Clean by wetting a piece of gauze with water, wiping over the Tri-Color Buffer.
